VelvetClipTerms of Service
These terms apply to the free sample videos and to the paid short-form video service offered by VelvetClip ("we", "us"), operated by Asonta J. Evans, to you, the business buying or requesting it ("you"). By requesting samples, paying through our checkout, or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
We plan, produce, caption and schedule short vertical videos for your business on the platforms and in the quantities included in your plan (Starter, Growth or Pro), as described on velvetclip.com at the time you subscribe. A pilot month is a one-time purchase for a limited trial of the service; it does not renew automatically.
2. Free samples
Free sample videos are provided at no cost and with no obligation. You may keep and use them for your own business.
3. Fees and billing
- Prices are in US dollars. Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew each month until canceled.
- You can cancel with 30 days' notice by emailing hello@velvetclip.com. Service continues through the end of the notice period.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.
4. What you provide
- Brand assets, service information, current promotions, and any phone clips you choose to send.
- Access to your social accounts through our scheduling tool's official connection. You can revoke it at any time. We never ask for your passwords.
- Approval of each weekly batch. If we don't hear back within 72 hours, we may post only content you have pre-approved as "evergreen."
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you send us, including written patient consent for any before/after photos or testimonials.
5. Medical content and compliance
You are responsible for the accuracy of medical and treatment claims and for complying with the advertising rules that apply to your practice, including your state's rules and the FTC's rules on endorsements and reviews. You approve every video before it is posted. We never use AI to create fake patients, fake results or fake reviews, and we label realistic AI-generated footage where platforms require it. We do not provide medical advice and do not respond to patients' medical questions.
6. Ownership
Once you have paid for a month, you own the final videos delivered in that month and may keep using them after you cancel. We keep ownership of our templates, workflows and know-how. We will not use your videos in our own marketing without your permission.
7. What we guarantee, and what we don't
We guarantee delivery: if we miss an agreed posting week, that week is free (credited against your next invoice or refunded if you have canceled). We do not guarantee views, followers, bookings, revenue or any other result, and platform algorithms and policies are outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits or account actions taken by a platform.
9. Ending the service
Either party may end the service with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend the service if payment fails or if continuing would require us to post content we believe is unlawful or misleading.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects an active plan, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.
